Worship at the center of community
The outreach in Eburru gradually developed into something more permanent: a church presence within the community. What began with relationships, evangelism and service grew into a physical place to gather for worship, fellowship, discipleship and continued ministry.
- A 1.88-acre site secured for the church and community centre
- A sanctuary, Pathfinder club rooms and a base for outreach
- Stone, roofing and labour funded by donors
How It’s Going
A Church Built on Faith — A Community Changed by Hope
What started as a 2022 community outreach is now a story of faith, generosity, and lasting impact. Through generous member, donor and partner contributions, a 400-seat sanctuary was completed and dedicated in July 2025 — along with furniture and meals for students attending church from neighbouring boarding schools.
The impact reaches far beyond worship. Eburru Church created local jobs during its construction, is strengthening livelihoods through a pyrethrum project, and invests in young people through programmes aimed at inculcating values of integrity, service, and leadership. It has also become a trusted partner in meeting community needs.
And this is just the beginning. The Eburru project has laid the groundwork for new churches and community initiatives across neighbouring areas and beyond — extending its reach to more families with every passing year.
