Matigari Adventist Movement in America (MAMA)

Matigari Adventist Movement in America (MAMA) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, EIN 87-1395827. Payments made to MAMA are contributions and are non-refundable. Membership and the welfare programme are operated by Matigari Adventist Welfare Organization (MAWO).

1. About this agreement

Matigari Adventist Movement in America (MAMA) operates the matigariadventistmovement.org website. These terms and conditions apply to your use of this website and to any payment you make in support of our work. By using this website or making a payment, you agree to be bound by these terms together with our Privacy Policy and our Payment & Refund Policy.

2. Our work

MAMA is a faith-based 501(c)(3) organization working in evangelism, education, healthcare, community development, and welfare support. Contributions made to MAMA are applied to those programs. Membership and the welfare programme are operated separately by Matigari Adventist Welfare Organization (MAWO) and are governed by our Bylaws.

3. Donations & contributions

Donations may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. You should retain your receipt and consult a tax adviser for your specific situation. Where you restrict a donation to a particular purpose, we apply it to that purpose.

4. Payments

Online payments are processed securely through our payment provider, Stripe. We do not see or store your card details. Cash payments are recorded by our administrators and receive a receipt like any online payment. How payments are taken, secured, receipted and refunded is set out in our Payment & Refund Policy.

5. Refunds

Donations and contributions are gifts and are generally non-refundable. A refund is issued only where a payment was processed in error, or where required by law. The full position is set out in section 6 of our Payment & Refund Policy, which you should read before paying.

6. Acceptable use & content

You may use this website for its intended purposes only. Text and images on the site may not be reproduced without permission. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or interfere with its availability.

7. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

Information on this site is provided in good faith and may change without notice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MAMA is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site, or events beyond our reasonable control.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
